The HYDRONEX system integrates with any combustion engine using a simple, reversible add-on installation.

Electrolysis

The compact reactor installed under the hood electrolyses distilled water to produce Brown’s Gas (HHO). The load on the vehicle’s electrical system is minimal — virtually no strain on the alternator.

Injection

Brown’s Gas is fed directly into the intake manifold, blending with the air-fuel mixture and significantly enriching it. This produces more complete combustion with every firing cycle.

ECU Adaptation

Your O2/lambda sensors detect cleaner exhaust and signal the ECU to reduce fuel delivery automatically. No tuning required — the engine self-optimises.

Does it actually save fuel?
Yes — verified across a large database of vehicle makes and models. Fuel savings range from 20% to 50% depending on engine condition, driving style, and application. All tests and measurements have been conducted. Consult a Hyonis specialist before purchase for an accurate estimate for your vehicle.
Will it void my warranty?
The system is fully reversible and leaves no permanent modifications. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (US) and equivalent Canadian regulations, dealers cannot void a warranty solely due to aftermarket add-ons unless they can prove the add-on caused specific damage.
Does the power draw affect performance?
At 65–190W the draw is equivalent to a standard headlight. The combustion improvement far outweighs this — net result is more power and better fuel economy simultaneously.
How much water does it use?
The HX-90 and HX-120 use approximately 1 litre of distilled water per 5,000 km. The HX-240 uses 2 litres per 5,000 km. A top-up takes 30 seconds during regular maintenance.
